My teaching philosophy centers on engaging and student-centered lessons. My lessons focus on meeting students where they are and bringing out their potential. Students develop fundamental technical, aural, and reading skills through diverse music to achieve their music goals in classical, jazz, and popular music. In addition to performance opportunities, students are encouraged to compose. I aim to create a safe and inspiring learning environment where students are encouraged to express themselves musically.
